Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Schenectady is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Schenectady follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Take the trip! Extremely clean, friendly, fast working staff. The food is so fresh! As soon as you open the door you get hit with the best smells reminding you of your Italian grandmothers kitchen on Sunday. The subs are loaded with high quality meat and cheese on fresh baked rolls with crisp veggies. They use red onion! The tortellini salad is bursting with flavor and the pasta is firm, cooked to perfection. Thereβs a large variety of Italian dry goods, fresh refrigerated pastas and dough along with meats for sale while you wait.

From the second we walked in, we felt like family. Such a cute little shop with the warmest, most welcoming energy β the kind of place that instantly puts you in a good mood. My friends Jorge and Sue referred us here, and now I understand why they spoke so highly of it. The food was unreal β fresh bread, stacked portions, and made with real care and pride. This isnβt just a sub shop, itβs a place that actually cares about people and quality. Weβre so grateful for the recommendation and will absolutely be coming back again and again. Support spots like this β theyβre special.

Fantastic Italian deli I was lucky enough to discover today. Highly recommend the homemade roast beef and the prosciutto and fresh mozzarella sub. Look forward to returning!

If anyone wants a nice fresh cut sub, this is this place. I normally do not drive up Van Vranken, but today I did.... boy, was I glad I did. Parking is a little difficult, especially if you're a first timer like me..... but once you go, you'll know where to park. You go in, and you're greeted by staff behind the counter. The deli is bright and very clean. They have all you Italian cooking needs on and around the shelves. It was about 4 to 5 people in front of me, but they were quick on moving people through. The young lady asked what I wanted ....I do my normal "surprise, I don't want to know." She smiles, and I got something for you... I had no clue until I opened it up, and it was stacked with 3 different meats, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, salt / pepper ... and the best part roasted red peppers...TDF Don't take my word for it. . Go try it yourself. You won't be disappointed... Thank you, guys, for making my 1st experience a good one, cause I will be coming back !!
